Ever feel a little bit dirty when you give your business to companies that support liberals and socialists? Does it ever cross your mind, when logging into Gmail, that you’re contributing to the coffers of the people who are trying to turn the U.S. into some kind of Utopian hippie commune? Michael Reagan is here for you.
Reagan, best known for being the eldest son of President Ronald Reagan, has had enough of the email monopoly of the left. We are, he says, “every time you use your email from companies like Google, AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, Apple and others…helping the liberals. These companies are, and will continue, to be huge supporters financially and with technology of those that are hurting our country.”
His answer? @reagan.com. For a fee, you can send and receive email from this magnificent domain–simultaneously promoting competition in the marketplace, pissing off your liberal friends, and taking a few pennies from the coffers of the moonbats. It’s a win-win scenario, any way you look at it.
Is the reagan.com domain going anywhere? It’s not likely to make much of a dent in the overall email landscape, but it’s exactly the kind of thing we should be supporting. Imagine sending out your conservative rabble-rousing emails with the name of Ronaldus Maximus presiding over the conversation.
If there’s a better domain from which to send out campaign emails, I haven’t heard of one.
Is Michael just trying to make a buck off of Dad’s name? Of course–the reagan.com site practically looks like a vendor’s stand plunked down in the middle of Ronald Reagan’s grave. But I hope Michael Reagan makes a truckload of money. RR would have been proud, and probably would be selling jelly beans in the next booth over. He loved entrepreneurs.
Full disclosure: the only way I would drop Gmail is if Ronaldus Maximus himself came floating through my window to tell me. Liberals might be insane, but they still have some cool toys. But am I going to drop $34.95 on my own @reagan.com address? Absolutely. I can’t pass up the opportunity to wear my conservatism on my sleeve.
The offer ends tomorrow (7/31), so if you want your own addy, you better get to the Reagan email site.
